Chad and I drove up Cedar Mountain this week to see how much snow was up there and to check out the frozen waters falls. As you can see there was still TONS of snow up there. It was starting to melt and most of the frozen water falls were melting and dripping down the mountain side. Chad was hesitate to climb onto the snow and walk to the edge of the mountain where this stream flowed down the mountain side. Me, light as a feather, walked down to the stream and Chad slowly followed. He was not as light as a feather and sunk a few times and then crashed down putting his lens straight into the snow. :( Poor guy! He recovered and ever so cautiously made his way back to the Durango. We had a good time, here is a picture of one of the frozen water falls. I can't wait for the snow to melt so we can hike up the mountain. Chad showed me this cool bike trail that we can hike when the snow is gone.
