Will went to the Orthopedic specialist Dr. Prince last week and had to get a cast put on his arm. He has to keep it on for 3-4 weeks, we go back to get it x-rayed on April 21st. Dr. Prince said that he has a radial head fracture from the fall. It's almost like a compression fraction by the elbow. He said that Will is young and his growth plates are wide open so it will heal fully with no problems.
Will had to get a cast above his elbow, down to his hand. He was a little sad that he would not be slipping this one off like the cast he had last year. Dr. Prince told him that he would bet him a candy bar if he could slip this cast off. BUT if he couldn't Will had to give him a candy bar, lol. Will was a little concerned with this bet and didn't take it. I think he knew it would be next to impossible to slip this cast off. I sent a Sharpie marker to school with him and he got all of his classmates to sign his cast. He was excited to have as many people as he could sign it. :)
