This is the second year Nicail has been in the history fair. Last year she took 3rd place with Rosie the Riveter as her subject. The history fair theme was Conflict and Compromise for 2008, Nicail and I decided to do an exhibit on Utah's Struggle for Statehood. Initially Nicail wanted to do her exhibit on polygamy, but decide that was too broad of a subject and chose Utah's struggle since she could use polygamy in her exhibit as well. Nicail was so excited to get first place at her school and go to the regional history fair in St. George. She got a little trophy that she is so proud of. We went to regionals and saw some outstanding exhibits. People put a lot of time into them, Nicail and I got some great ideas for next year!

Nicail gets 1st place at the History Fair!
