While Nicail was at her grandma and grandpa's Halloween party she caught a tarantula! She was so excited to bring it home, lol. Of course to add in with her collection of creatures. That girl has a heart for bugs, frogs, you name it, if it's creepy crawly she likes it. Right now she has a chrysalis of a giant caterpillar, some tadpoles (the ever lasting kind?!), the tarantula, and a mouse.
Nicail someday wants to be a entomologist. She loves bugs! All summer she collects bugs, puts them in jars to watch and feed. Her favorite is caterpillars, she loves when they turn into various butterflies and moths. We also caught a lot of lizards, frogs, snakes, tadpoles and horny toads throughout the summer. As for the tarantula, Nicail made him a home in an aquarium, with the expert help of T.W. I bought some crickets from Petco, since it is getting to cold outside for her to find them. Her and T.W. had made a trap for them, but have not had much luck with the weather. Nicail and Will have been amazed watching the tarantula! As for me I think it is morbid and gross! Maybe I have seen too many horror flicks, lol.

That is the spider you told me about hu? I always make my kids let them go. Now T.W will have to catch his own.
Creepy! I think I'd be more okay with a snake.
She is crazy! But very very brave. I love it.
Brandy, she is so much like you. You usually liked the reptiles more then the creepy crawles if i remember right though. I gives me the willies just looking at it. Yicks!!!
